Dallas’s vibrant and fast-evolving Knox Street district is preparing to welcome a striking new neighbor that promises to redefine local luxury hospitality. Auberge Resorts Collection is officially debuting a new hotel right in the heart of the bustling commercial and cultural district, perched uniquely along the scenic, tree-lined Katy Trail to offer guests prime access to all that the Texas metropolis has to offer. Aptly named The Knox, the anticipated property is officially accepting reservations ahead of its grand opening early next year, and Robb Report has secured an exclusive first look at what travelers and locals can expect to find behind its front door.

For its latest high-profile venture, Auberge tapped the renowned Martin Brudnizki Design Studio to bring its interiors and its 140 meticulously crafted rooms and suites to life. Drawing inspiration from the natural surroundings, the design firm successfully integrated the greenery of the nearby Katy Trail into the property’s aesthetic. Guest rooms are lined with vibrant greens and bold, animal-printed wallpaper rendered in warm golden hues. These rich orange and green color palettes extend seamlessly into the private bathrooms, where eye-catching greens line the mirrors while warm marble tones cover the floors and walls. Other select suites offer an even more striking visual presentation, covered from head to toe in intricate flora wallpaper paired with bright, colorful custom furniture that reflects a contemporary yet timeless elegance.

The property’s larger accommodations are thoughtfully designed to function as self-contained sanctuaries, featuring dedicated living and dining areas that evoke the comforting feeling of a personal residential abode. Among them is The Manse, which stands out as the most spacious suite available at the property. This expansive retreat is complete with a private gym space, a dedicated wellness room, an indoor bar, and a private media room designed for ultimate relaxation and entertainment. Just alongside it is The Promenade, a 2,100-square-foot sibling suite that also houses an indoor bar, a sprawling living room, and multiple sophisticated lounge and dining areas tailored for hosting or unwinding.

For travelers seeking longer-term stays or an elevated residential experience, The Knox introduces a collection of two- and three-bedroom apartments known as Abbott House, Hester House, and Hyland House. These residences place a heavy emphasis on seamless indoor-outdoor living, featuring fully equipped modern kitchens while retaining the comprehensive white-glove service characteristic of an ultra-luxury hotel. Additionally, the new destination incorporates 48 private residences, which have been envisioned and designed by Chad Dorsey Design to complement the overall architectural and aesthetic vision of the development.

Beyond the private quarters, The Knox will feature a carefully curated selection of public spaces and culinary concepts. The property will house a signature restaurant serving up refined takes on classic American dishes, alongside an indoor and outdoor salon designed as a deliberate architectural and gastronomic ode to traditional European dining. Rounding out the culinary and social offerings are an intimate evening lounge that channels the secretive, sophisticated atmosphere of a classic speakeasy and vibrant poolside dining overlooking sweeping views of the Dallas skyline.

Wellness remains a core pillar of the experience through the integration of the brand’s signature Wellbeing by Auberge program. The wellness concept is complete with specialized thermal rituals, advanced skin therapies, and a curated menu of luxury treatments rooted in a holistic, forward-thinking approach to health and longevity. Furthermore, the hotelier is positioning The Knox as a premier event destination in Dallas, capable of hosting weddings, high-level corporate meetings, and other sophisticated celebrations across a series of spacious, adaptable gathering rooms.

"Inspired by the energy, character, and culture of the city, the Knox was designed to be more than a hotel. It will be a gathering place where exceptional dining, thoughtful well-being, inspired design, and extraordinary hospitality come together," Rick Fidel, regional vice president and general manager of the new hotel, said in a press statement detailing the vision behind the property. "We look forward to becoming part of the neighborhood’s fabric and community while creating unforgettable experiences for both visitors and locals."
